Basic Qualifications
- Must be bilingual - Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English
- Minimum: Associate or Accounting Degree (Completed or In Progress)
- Prior bookkeeping experience
Key Responsibilities
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
- Processing due invoices for payments
- Enter data accurately
- Update payroll files while working with the HR department
- Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
- Managing accounts payable using accounting software Sage50
Skills:
- Strong problem solving, analytical and multi-tasking skills
- Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
- Time management skills and detail orientation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information
- Proficient in accounting and payroll software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software
- Ability to perform mathematical computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions quickly and accurately
- Able to speak, read and write Chinese
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
