Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Residential Manager to oversee residential construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, be proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, and have a solid understanding of construction processes. This role requires effective time management and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Manage residential construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate project execution.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as JobTread.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and 2020 Design Flex 14 to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Coordinate project activities, including site inspections, material procurement, and labor management.
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise promptly to minimize delays.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project milestones, changes, and communications.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations on the construction site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management within the residential construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, including contract negotiation and management.
- Proficiency in project scheduling/bidding software.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.
- Experience in project coordination is preferred but not mandatory.
