Job Overview
The Housekeeping Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel. This position is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff, managing daily operations, and maintaining and high standards of cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and housekeeping.
Duties
- Supervise and lead the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality cleaning standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff on best practices in cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Address any guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules during events or peak occupancy times.
