JOB TITLE: Quality Control Inspector
Bargaining Unit Status: Non-Bargaining Unit
FULL-TIME (hours per week: 40) M-F 7:00AM-3:30PM
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma, GED or equivalent
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
Senior Quality Control Inspector and Quality Control Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:
Supports the company quality control program by providing momentum for quality improvement through site inspections. Inspect facilities and document results for conformance/non-conformance to specifications as defined in the contract Statement of Work.

- Knowledge of general quality control practices and procedures is preferred
- Must have a working knowledge of the requirements of Quality Assurance/Quality Control. .
- Must be Familiar and able to read Period Work Statement (PWS) and Statement of Work (SOW)
- At least one year of experience in quality control is preferred
- Must be authorized for coverage under agency insurance, have good driving record, valid driver’s license in state/territory of contract operation, and/or required level of personal auto insurance
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, per company requirements
- Must be able to obtain DOD security clearance at the Secret level
- Ability to communicate with tact and maintain confidentiality
- Adequate ability in communicating in spoken conversation – adequate volume speech
- Adequate ability in writing/reading/mathematics
- Ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with management and peers
- Strong organizational, project planning, and quality control experience is preferred
- Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in general reporting and basic case file management
- Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:
Supports the company quality control program by providing momentum for quality improvement through site inspections. Inspect facilities and document results for conformance/non-conformance to specifications as defined in the contract Statement of Work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Inspect a daily proportional amount of areas taken from a monthly schedule and document findings on inspection checklists
- Perform pre-occupancy and post-occupancy inspections as directed
- When performance discrepancies are found during inspections, the inspector will notify Supervisors and/or Crew Leaders/Lead Workers of performance necessary to bring performed work to Phoenix Service-established baseline quality standards
- Check on call-in/complaints as directed by the project management
- Re-inspection of areas as necessary to ensure contract compliance
- Annotate closed areas upon discovery and advise project management
- Perform QC administrative work including:
- QC Data entry/Data update
- QC summary reports production
- QC reports and correspondence filing and archiving
- Ensure proper safety, tasks, and inspection of assigned areas properly documented weekly
- Check to ensure all equipment and supplies are properly labeled if applicable to the contract
- Monitor employees for safe working practices and environmental compliance in their work areas and relay information to the project management team
- Ability to communicate by telephone, and emergency information systems
- Ability to be independently mobile on all surfaces and situations
- Ability to move safely about work area
- Ability to retrieve items from high and low areas
- Ability to perceive size, discrimination, temperature, shapes, and/or textures
- Physical stamina to work at least 8 hours per day
- Must be able to change routine in a positive manner
