Electrical Superintendent Overview:
The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for coordinating all activities related to the electrical discipline on a construction project site, completing work ahead of schedule, within budget and specifications. Duties vary by client and project size with varying degrees of responsibility and authority.
Location & Travel Details: You can be based in any U.S. city or state. This is a traveling, project-based position, up to 90% of the time. Projects are located throughout the US, lasting 8-18 months on average. We offer per diem in addition to an excellent base salary to support living expenses, mobilization support (including mileage reimbursement), and one longer weekend every four weeks for additional time at home.

Responsibilities:
- Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
- Manage a combination of Leadmen, Foremen, and Superintendents, supervising up to 60 employees
- Supervise overall direction, coordination, performance, and evaluation of sub-contractors
- Directly supervise, coordinate, and delegate activities of Superintendents, Foreman, and/or construction trade workers in one or more occupations
- Coordinate activities of multiple subcontractors
- Interact with clients to keep projects on schedule and under budget
- Maintain a well-organized receiving system
- Prepare accurate two-week look-ahead reports
- Perform all types of job layouts using the latest technology
- Communicate effectively to employees in oral and written form
- Perform minor estimating tasks
- Understand and use schedules
- Complete all required project reports and maintain documentation
- Ensure operators are certified and maintain equipment on the project
- Assist Human Resources and Supervisors in interviewing, hiring, training, appraising work performance, and addressing employee complaints
- Manage, lead direct reports, and mentor
Qualifications:
- Five years' experience/knowledge or a combination of experience and education in a supervisory role
- Licensed Electrical Journeyman (Alaska State or from a Reciprocating State)
Physical Demands:
- Work up to 12-hour shifts performing hard physical labor in various temperatures and conditions
- Maintain physical strength and stamina; Use arms, hands, and legs fully; Push, pull, and frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; Stooping, kneeling, balancing, crouching, crawling, and climbing to perform tasks
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment
This is a Full-Time position scheduled to work 50 hours per week, with variable schedules due to project requirements.
