We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Network Technician to support and maintain the day-to-day operations of our network infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with hardware, and ensuring reliable connectivity across systems and users.
Position Overview:
As a Network Technician, you’ll be the front line of network support—installing, configuring, and maintaining essential hardware and connectivity systems. You’ll work closely with the IT and network administration team to ensure our systems are running efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Perform routine network maintenance, updates, and cable management
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Support end-users with technical issues related to networking, internet, or VoIP systems
- Assist with network upgrades, equipment moves, and hardware deployments
- Document network layouts, wiring, configurations, and changes
- Work with vendors and service providers for network services and hardware support
- Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection protocols
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in network support or a similar IT technician role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with network hardware (Cisco, Ubiquiti, HP, etc.)
- Familiarity with structured cabling, patching, and basic server room setups
- Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Network or similar certification preferred (CCNA is a plus)
