What You’ll Do:
- Oversee all aspects of daily warehouse operations to ensure optimal efficiency, safety, and productivity.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates and supervisors to achieve performance and operational goals.
- Monitor inventory levels, and manage the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials.
- Design and implement process improvements to enhance workflow, reduce costs, and support scalability.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and all applicable safety regulations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to support seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including inventory records, operational logs, and performance reports.
- Oversee the staging of materials for dispatch and ensure timely readiness for outgoing shipments.
- Conduct daily material audits and spot checks to verify inventory accuracy and maintain data integrity.
- Manage system updates for inventory control, including item serialization and location tracking.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments by scheduling delivery dates and managing freight logistics.
- Allocate delivery routes and schedules for dispatch teams, ensuring efficiency and timely execution.
- Act as a direct supervisor for drivers and dispatchers, approving schedules and providing operational guidance.
- Maintain and oversee the warehouse management database to ensure accurate, real-time data entry and reporting.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and safety standards
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team culture
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
