What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Phoenix Integrated Medical Center LLC?
Our Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for checking in and out patients using our EHR (Electronic Health Record) system (Practice EHR) collecting payments, and verifying insurance. To be a candidate to join our team you must have an outgoing personality, be able to multi-task, pass a level 2 background check, and have at least 2 years experience in a healthcare related environment. Our Front Desk Receptionist must feel competent in creating friendly relationships with patients, while simultaneously completing their job responsibilites to ensure the patient's medical care is a well-rounded experience.
Job Duties:
- Opening and closing the facility
- Answer Phones
- Check Voicemails in the AM
- Medical Records Requests
- Prepare Superbills, PSF forms, NP Paperwork
- Follow up on Marketing leads, Make appointments, Verify insurance
- Appointment Confirmations the day before
- Screen, resolve, or redirect phone calls as needed
- Knowledge of EHR System Practice EHR
- Collecting Copays and Self Pay payments
- EOD Reports
- Insurance verification and organization
- Scan and organize patient files
- Greet patients with a smile
- Assist in patient care when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of patient waiting room and the front desk
