Phoenix Investors is seeking a Central Utility Plant Operator for 1st shift at their Endicott, NY facility. As an operator you will be a crucial asset in the provision of steam, chilled water, compressed air, and other utilities to customers across campus.
Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and maintain steam boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and compressed air systems
Adjust and inspect motors, valves, pumps, heaters, and related equipment
Use test equipment and procedures to periodically collect samples and test boiler feedwater, condensate, chilled water, and condenser water
Complete all written and electronic records
Respond to emergencies as they arise
Qualifications
Six months of unskilled work experience assisting in the operation, maintenance, or repair of industrial, commercial, or institutional utility plant systems and related equipment, electronic equipment, electrical systems, heavy machinery, motors, engines, drives or hydraulic systems
Ability to effectively communicate and work with others in a team setting
