Join our team at Phoenix Landscape., a fast-growing company in the landscape, agriculture, and horticulture industry. We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Crew Leader for our Myrtle Beach area operations. This role involves performing landscape maintenance tasks under the supervision of an Account Manager, adhering to our high-quality standards and commitment to WOW customer service. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in landscaping or related tasks and will be able to handle the physical demands of the job.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned property maintenance contract requirements in a timely manner, according to maintenance production levels, customer service standards, and supervisory instruction on a daily basis.
- Understand and comply with company safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Properly and safely operate hand tools and maintenance equipment.
- Mow properties weekly; edge properties, including hardscapes and beds; weed and water all flower beds and turf, and cut down weeds as appropriate.
- Apply fertilizers and pest control techniques properly and timely, as appropriate.
- Perform basic level preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Accurately report time worked according to time reporting procedures.
- Interact with other crew members, supervisors and company personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience performing landscaping or related tasks.
- Proficiency using landscape maintenance tools and techniques.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle the work load and physical demands of the job.
- Driver's License Preferred.
Compensation
The base pay for this position ranges from $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.
