Full-Time Resident Services Coordinator

Phoenix Management is seeking a full-time Resident Services Coordinator to work with seniors and families in a varied portfolio of project-based Section 8 and low-income housing properties.

As a Resident Services Coordinator, you will assist tenants in identifying needs and connecting them with community resources- with a primary goal of supporting tenants in a path to maintain stable housing and remain self-sufficient. This position requires daily site-visits. There is a company car available for use. We have properties from Fairfield, ME to Farmington, NH, so the applicant must be comfortable with daily travel.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Build and maintain a rapport with local social service agencies, while continuing to develop a list of community resources for tenants.
• Assist tenants in mediating conflict with neighbours and resolving concerns with tenancy that may result in a lease violations or eviction (missed rent, housekeeping issues, understanding paperwork for lease renewal).
• Traveling between properties everyday- with access to a company car.
• Participate in on-going training and networking programs for Resident Services Coordinators.

Requirements:

• Experience or willingness to work with diverse populations.
• The ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Experience in Human Services preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
