Job Summary
This job is in the Plant family (Department), which includes positions responsible for supervising or performing metals processing and distribution work. Work includes specialized equipment operation and / or supporting functions and requires a practical knowledge of the nature and operations and the materials, facilities and methods employed by Phoenix Metals in metals processing and distribution.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust, and mop
- Pack items for shipment on cut-to-length line with protective materials
- Operate forklift and other warehouse tools and equipment
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Warehouse / Field setting; minimal temperature environment
Schedule : Monday- Friday 6a-4p
Pay starting between $18-$19 / hour. Eligible for quarterly bonus up to $1500.
