Job Summary:
PHOENIX PAPER WICKLIFFE LLC is seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E/I) Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will provide effective support for specific projects in the Maintenance department and work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment
- Inspect and test electrical/instrumentation equipment as required
- Install pneumatic, electronic, and other instrumentation equipment
- Install fixtures, motors and other electrical equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical/instrumentation equipment issues
- Operate distributive controls and programmable controllers to diagnose control problems
- Assist with planning layouts, running conduit, wiring and tubing both new and existing installations
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
Requirements:
- Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Electrical Power Engineering, Computer Electronics or related field
- Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge and experience with electronic and pneumatic process instrumentation, A/C and D/C variable speed drives and industrial power distribution systems
- Safety conscious and able to work unsupervised
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to lift 50-70 lbs regularly
- Valid driver's license and excellent verbal and communication skills
