Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Lead Revenue Accountant to join our team at Phoenix Pro Connect. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious professional to drive financial transformation and take ownership of revenue accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Accounting Leadership: Lead the monthly close process, collaborating with operational finance and commercial teams to ensure accurate numbers.
- Business Partnership: Work closely with the general accounting management team to guarantee integrity of reported gross margin, investigate variances, and address inconsistencies across P&L & Balance Sheet.
- Team Oversight: Ensure accuracy and completeness of tasks performed by the team, support the Director in prioritizing team tasks and project work, and maintain timely delivery of results.
- Analytical Review and Reporting: Produce analytical review and reporting packs for various stakeholders, lead cross-functional presentations of business performance, and oversee APPS order-to-cash processes.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and challenge Finance processes and activities from a control perspective, bringing forward improvement recommendations, and develop new procedures to enhance departmental workflow.
Requirements:
- Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced user of Excel (sheets) and comfortable setting out models for streamlining processes and driving accounting operations.
- BI System Experience: Experienced user of BI systems, preferably Tableau or similar systems like Power BI.
- Transaction Business Model: Experienced working with high volume low value transactional business models.
- Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement, adapting to new ways of working.
- Planning and Problem-Solving: Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Investigative Nature: Investigative with a robust nature, able to challenge Company management where appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA Certification: CPA certification preferred with medium to Big 4 practice experience, or experience within a similar industry.
- Minimum Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in an Accounting role.
- International Markets: Experience accounting for activities in international markets.
- Public Company Experience: Public company experience and knowledge of IFRS & US GAAP preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
This position comes with an estimated annual salary range of $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
