Phoenix Pro Connect Technology is working with a client in South Florida who's looking to hire an OBIEE developer / architect.
Job Description :
As an Oracle OBIEE Developer, you will design and develop solutions with technical expertise in data warehouse design, ETL (Informatica), reporting, and analytics. This role involves the design and development of enterprise data warehouse (EDW), ETL, and business intelligence systems on OBIEE. You will also provide support for the ongoing operation and enhancements of EDW, ETL, and OBIEE systems.
Qualifications :
Experience in building Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Master Data Management (MDM), and Big Data implementations.
Experience in building data models / DataMarts, such as Star and Snowflake schemas, for both horizontal and vertical lines of business.
Proficient in developing OBIEE Repository at three layers : Physical, Business Model, and Presentation Layers.
Experience with star-schema, snowflake, FACT, and dimensional data modeling.
Expertise in SQL and strong hands-on scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, and Python).
Ability to understand current data warehouses and address any gaps.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Technological Stack :
Oracle OBIEE 12.2
Informatica PowerCenter 9 and higher
Oracle SQL PL / SQL
Proficiency with MS Visio or Erwin tools
Primary Responsibilities :
Perform data engineering functions, including data extraction, transformation, loading, and integration, to support enterprise data infrastructures using Informatica PowerCenter.
Analyze requirements and architecture specifications to create detailed design documentation.
Collaborate with data modelers, business teams, and system analysts to prepare source-to-target mapping specifications.
Use Informatica PowerCenter to create and maintain topology, interfaces, packages, and load plan components.
Conduct data analysis, identify data patterns and issues, and provide solutions using ETL / ELT tools.
Education and Experience :
Multiple project experience in data analysis, data profiling, and data cleansing.
In-depth understanding of ETL / ELT concepts and techniques as applied in OLTP, ODS, and data warehouse applications.
Understanding of SQL performance and tuning techniques (Oracle experience preferred).
Experience with full Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.
Provide technical leadership to BI team members to deliver on-time, on-budget, on-requirements, and on-quality OBIEE data warehouse management.
Ensure that all products and data within the platform are architected and integrated as a cohesive unit, ensuring proper documentation.
