Position Outline

A Property Maintenance Professional is responsible for performing a variety of installs, retrofits and light construction tasks for residences. This position is great for contractors looking for extra work and is paid per job or proficient individuals with schedule flexibility to complete the assigned jobs.

Key Responsibilities-

Property Maintenance Professional

· Constructing ramps and builds that aid in home accessibility for clients

· Conducting assessments: Performing walk-through assessments to identify repair needs and prepare cost estimates.

· Handling emergency repairs: Addressing urgent repair tasks as needed.

· Coordinating with clients: Communicating with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on repair progress.

· Using tools and equipment: Operating hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.

· Maintaining records: Keeping detailed records of completed tasks and any follow-up actions required.

· Performing carpentry work: Building or repairing structures such as decks, fences, and furniture.

· General maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, sweeping, and dusting.

· Installing fixtures: Installing items like shelves, cabinets, and other fixtures.

· Maintaining records: Keeping detailed records of completed tasks and any follow-up actions required.

· Communication: possess abilities to coordinate and communicate in a professional manner with city officials for inspections

· Plumbing and Electrical: have a working knowledge of simple plumbing and electrical repairs, modifications and installs

Education and Certification Requirements (Property Maintenance Professional):

· High school diploma or equivalent: Some positions may require additional vocational training or certification.

· Experience: Several years of experience in maintenance, project assignment and expedient completion to company standards

· Technical skills: Proficiency in using various tools and equipment, as well as basic knowledge of carpentry systems and structural analysis

· Background: The ability to pass a level 1 background check
