Overview
The Night Auditor is responsible for logging afterhours guests, administrative activities outlined by the Building Manager, entering any service requests made by residents during your shift, and routine security rounds of the property.
To be successful in this role, you should have a commitment to exceptional customer service. Candidates will be able to manage their time wisely, in order to properly prioritize their various duties.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all guest requests and needs from 5:00 pm until 12:00 am.
- Greets prospects and residents as they enter the community/leasing area.
- Answers phone calls and assists with service request intake as necessary.
- Maintains tracking logs of afterhours guests.
- Answers any questions that residents and guests may have.
- Provide, accept, and process community applications.
- Schedule appointments for residents and prospects with office staff.
- Perform regular in-person safety checks of the community.
- Monitor security systems, and respond accordingly.
- Respond to emergencies, such as fire alarms, medical incidents, and security breaches, and take appropriate actions.
- Keeps detailed information on local area restaurants, shops, delivery places, and other pertinent information that may be of interest to residents.
- The Night Auditor will also assist the Building Manager with clerical assignments.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management or related field is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in front desk operations and hotel management systems.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and effective phone systems usage.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
