What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Agent for Apartment Complex position at Phoenix Property Management?
Immediate opening for a full-time Leasing Agent for a 272 unit apartment complex in Tempe. Our office is open 6 days per week, so we need someone who is available in person Mondays-Saturdays, with some flexibility.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Property Manager with on site operations
- Handle all details of Move Ins, Move Outs, giving special attention to apartment inspection check-ins and check-outs.
- Maintain resident records in One-Site.
- Assist Manager with rent collection, rent ledger, bank deposits, petty cash records, delinquent rents, evictions, maintaining curb appeal, etc.
- Work with established budget and notify the Property Owner of any possible variations.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as directed by owners.
- Handle lease negotiations and renewals.
- Show apartments to perspective residents.
- Work with maintenance team on work orders & make ready process
- Assist with marketing and leasing activities as requested.
- Assist Manager with resident relations and enforce all community rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma
- Math skills -- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compare rate, ratio, and percentages and interpret basic graphs.
- Reasoning Skills -- Ability to carry out detailed, written or oral instructions with commonsense understanding. Ability to deal with problems that involve variables in situations.
- Computer Skills -- Experience with MS Office Applications. One-Site Experience Preferred

Base pay is $18.00-22.00 per hour DOE, plus leasing bonuses.
