What are the responsibilities and job description for the Post Doctoral Resident Psychologist - Private Practice position at Phoenix Psychology & Counseling?
We are a collaborative and supportive group practice providing psychotherapy, evaluation and assessment to a variety of patient populations. We are seeking an individual with strong interest in performing psychological evaluations to include diagnostic clarification, fitness for duty, identifying ADHD, neurodivergence, and memory/cognitive concerns. Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in psychology or related field
- Strong skills in psychotherapy, patient assessment, and diagnostic evaluation
- Proficient in HIPAA regulations and medical record management
- Experience in behavioral health and mental health counseling
- Familiarity with psychological testing and intake procedures
- Knowledge of child and family counseling, crisis intervention, and telehealth practices
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children and individuals with autism
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and intake evaluations to determine mental health needs.
- Provide psychotherapy and mental health counseling to individuals, including children and families.
- Administer psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and manage crisis situations effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
