Phoenix Recovery Services, LLC provides an IDHS/SUPR licensed Recovery Home services for men and women 18 years of age and older. Our Recovery Home offers a structured homelike environment for persons with diagnosed substance use disorder to obtain the necessary skills to achieve abstinence.
We are looking for a dynamic, highly skilled, and motivated administrative assistant to support the Executive Director. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, understand the recovery community, and have a passion for community service.
Duties
- Answer/receive phone calls, assisting callers with their questions and inquiries, connect callers with appropriate team members.
- Responsible for receiving and distributing both internal and external courier packages, and mail.
- Order office and Recovery Home Supplies.
- Responsible for inventory and reporting for office supplies, recovery home supplies, and furnishings for annual budgets.
- Draft correspondence and reports at the direction of the Executive Director.
- Assist the Executive Director with the development and production of group curriculum and training materials.
- Schedule appointments, trainings, and meetings for the Team.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, and classes for a minimum of 10 clock hours per year of continuing education.
- Assist team members as needed to facilitate program activities.
- File confidential resident information and records.
- Maintain administrative filing system.
- Help ensure a safe, clean, working environment, specifically the Staff, Administrative, and Executive offices.
- Aid in coordination/preparation of meetings, presentations, and other program projects or recovery home outings/events.
- Other duties as assigned by Executive Director to meet agency objectives or for the facilitation of additional programs as developed.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or technical/professional training a plus.
- Bookkeeping or Human Resources experience is a plus.
- Good phone, communication, computer, and public relations skills.
- Knowledge of social service agencies and/or substance abuse services is a plus.
- Know and abide by the general provisions of Section 2060.509 Recovery Homes and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
