In this position, you will :
- Maintain systems to protect data from unauthorized users. Identify, report, and resolve security violations.
- Provide technical analysis and sustainment support for the enterprise for IA tools and applications and assist with the application of Defense-In-Depth signatures and perimeter defense controls to diminish network threats.
- Ensure system compliance with DoD RMF for DoD IT.
- Comply with Federal Information Processing Standards Publication (FIPS PUB) 140-2.
- Follow the security requirements and processes by the Department of Defense Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG) and DLA Cloud Hosting Strategy.
- Provide quality control checking for security documents, including graphics, white papers, guides, and manuals.
- Consult with technical staff on collecting and organizing information to determine the format, content, and organization of technical / security documentation.
- Provide daily supervision of, and direction to, computer security system staff.
Knowledge and skills required :
Education Requirements :
Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
Certification Requirements :
Must possess and maintain CNDSP / CSSP-IR certification.
DoD Approved 8140.03 or 8570.01 Baseline Certification : Category IAT Level II – CCNA-Security, CySA , CND, Security CE
