POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for overseeing clinical services on all Phoenix Rescue Mission residential program campuses; this includes oversight of services to clients and management and clinical supervision of staff and interns. The Director of Clinical Services ensures that programs operate only within the scope of practice as defined by policies and procedures and that the Client Handbook remains updated and adhered to by staff members and clients. The incumbent ensures staff provide services within the scope of their skills, qualifications, and knowledge.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee all clinical and childcare staff of residential and alumni programs, including hiring, performance management, employment decisions, and maintaining a healthy work environment.
- Ensure there is sufficient personnel to fulfill the scope of practice while meeting clients' needs, managing appropriate caseloads, and maintaining health and safety protocols.
- Ensure that all staff members receive orientation and training appropriate for their roles by monitoring the development and facilitation of a high-quality in-service program that aligns with PRM core competencies for clinical staff, interns, and the wider community.
- Lead the programs toward success, by establishing key performance indicators, objectives, and key results; by monitoring program performance; and by reporting on progress.
- Confirm that behavioral health assessments, treatment plans, and counseling services are conducted appropriately, and that client records are documented in accordance with established policy and procedure.
- Partner with the IT department and program personnel to ensure the confidentiality, access, reference, and retention of client records in accordance with PRM policies and procedures.
- Keep updated on contract, regulatory, and accreditation requirements for residential programs.
- In partnership with the Compliance Department, ensure compliance with policies and procedures for residential programs as a day-to-day practice and take appropriate action to correct issues regarding noncompliance.
- Provide direct services to clients as needed.
- Promote effective relationships between clinical staff, other residential program staff, and different PRM departments that affect the success of client outcomes.
- Lead or participate in devotions, prayers or other organization activities that promote a credible Christian witness and lifestyle.
- Perform other duties within scope as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required
- Master’s degree from an accredited school in a behavioral health discipline
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience of behavioral health and/or addiction recovery programs
- Active independent license and supervisor certification from the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
- Possession of a National Provider Identifier (NPI) is preferred
- Understanding of relevant AHCCCS billing codes is preferred
Preferred
- 5 years of supervisory experience of behavioral health and/or addiction recovery programs
- Experience working in a residential treatment setting
- Experience working with populations facing poverty, homelessness, and substance abuse
- Experience working in a faith-based setting

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
