Position Overview: As an Ophthalmic Technician, you'll assist in patient care, conduct diagnostic tests, document in EHR, and support our Ophthalmologists during exams.

Requirements:
- 1 year clinical experience (Optometry/Ophthalmology preferred)
- Certifications (COT, COA, CMA, EMT preferred)
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- EHR experience preferred
- Knowledge of ophthalmic procedures specific to vitreo-retinal practice a plus

Ophthalmic Technician Overview:
Phoenix Retina Ophthalmic Technicians are full-time employees responsible for assisting in the care, treatment, and education for ophthalmology patients. Ophthalmic Technicians conduct patient screening, patient communication & education, obtain patient history, document in EHR, maintain patient confidentiality, and maintain exam rooms and inventory. Ophthalmic Technicians assist our Ophthalmologists in preparing patients for examination, performing diagnostic testing, visual acuity, and intraocular pressures as directed by a physician.
