Role Description

This is a full-time position located in Nashville, TN for a Roofing Sales Manager. The Roofing Sales Manager will be responsible for leading sales efforts, developing and implementing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and coordinating with the installation team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 Years as a top performer selling.
  • Sales and customer relationship management skills
  • Experience in the roofing industry or similar field

  • Experience in insurance claims and retail sales
  • Organizational and time management skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assistance: The items below are where you will not have a direct and sole responsibility, but you will work together with the owner in order to grow the company and brand.

1. Hiring Process of Sales Reps

3. Train and develop the 50 Split model training programs

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Rep Development:

  • Teach, train, and mentor sales reps to become self-sufficient and successful.
  • Develop a weekly battle rhythm schedule with the sales reps to target areas and attain the sales goals.
  • Ensure each rep consistently meets the minimum sales target of $46,000 in sales per month, with the goal of reaching and maintaining $80,000 monthly.
  • Regularly conduct coaching sessions and performance evaluations to ensure ongoing development and growth.
  • Assist in the development of a sales rep evaluation model to provide positive and development feedback.

Hiring & Onboarding:

  • Assist & provide insight into the hiring process to attract and onboard top talent for the sales team.
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive sales training program that sets reps up for success.

Sales Strategy & Program Development:

  • Provide insights and collaborate with leadership to refine the sales training program without being solely responsible for its development.
  • Help establish scalable processes for onboarding and continuous improvement.

Sales Process & Supplementation:

  • Support with supplement-related tasks as needed until the role transitions to additional support staff.
  • Oversee the development of junior sales managers who can assist 10% reps or those transitioning to the 50-split model.
  • Ensure that sales reps are effectively developed to achieve at least 4 out of 6 months with over $80,000 in sales before transitioning to the 50/50 split.

Team Leadership & Performance:

  • Maintain a high-performance sales culture, providing motivation, recognition, and constructive feedback.
  • Monitor individual and team performance against KPIs and ensure accountability for results.

Selling on Your Own:

o You can sell on your own; however, this must be done where you are using it for team development and growth.

o This activity must be used as a tool to teach and inspire the team. At any time when your individual selling allows others to struggle or leads to time being missed that could have been used for developing the team, it will be considered a failure in leadership.

Vacation Time:

o I believe in offering a healthy work-life balance. In line with this, we provide 30 days of vacation annually, similar to military policies. Vacation time must be deconflicted with new cohort onboarding and scheduled in advance to ensure smooth operations.

Compensation:

  • 10% of anything you sell
  • 3% of everything the team sells
  • Company Revenue bonus

$500k in company profit = $10,000 bonus

$750k in company profit = $15,000 bonus

$1 MIL in company profit = $20,000 bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
