Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented person to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic with the ability to meet tight production schedules. Good attendance is a must. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality production of garments for first responders. The Seamstress will work closely with production staff to deliver quality product to our customers. Sewing experience is preferred but not necessary. We are willing to train the right person.
Duties
- Operate various types of sewing machines to fabricate garments according to specifications.
- Perform garment construction tasks, including cutting, sewing, and finishing.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to customer specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
Experience
- Proven experience in garment construction and sewing is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations related to fabric handling and inventory management is a plus.
- Knowledge of various sewing techniques and the ability to operate different types of sewing and embroidery machines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
