Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Assistant to join our team at Phoenix Screen Printing. This is an entry level position, that is responsible for helping our Shipping Supervisor manage incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the shipping and receiving process.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and checking in stock for the production team
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, and labeling items
- Assist with splitting shipments to multiple locations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of order picking, order fulfillment, shipping receiving processes
- Familiarity with warehouse o equipment such as forklifts is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members across departments
