Overview:
Phoenix Services is looking for a full-time Cutting Machine Operator! This company is a custom cut and sew manufacturing facility located in Toledo that specializes in sewn protective packaging used primarily in automotive manufacturing.
Job Description:
In this role, you will work collaboratively with internal teammates to ensure on-time quality production runs. Machine operation background and the ability to operate various small power tools is preferred (drill, band saw, etc.). The ideal candidate will have prior CNC operating experience, but we are willing to train.
Responsibilities:
· Ability to check and verify measurements
· Accurately count and organize materials for each project
· Accurately complete all paper work associated with the position
· Perform all necessary quality checks during production and follow procedures when defective parts are discovered
· Ability to read and interpret a tape measure
· Ability to stand for 10 hours
· Perform routine maintenance on equipment
· Work independently and be a self-motivator with input from supervisor
· Follow all safety standards and procedures and maintain good attendance record
· Perform other tasks as assigned
Shift Information:
· 5am-3pm, Monday-Thursday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
