We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Findlay, OH! The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining productivity and ensuring that all operations adhere to safety standards.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6AM-2:30PM with a possibility of some overtime
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers and order pickers, to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all items are correctly loaded and unloaded.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other heavy equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies while operating equipment.
- Assist in materials handling, including loading and unloading trucks and organizing inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years experience operating a forklift and be well-versed in warehouse operations; valid forklift certification is preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates. The ability to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and excellent communication skills are also required.
