What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor/Equipment Operator position at Phoenix Services LLC?
Just 15 minutes from Findlay! We are seeking dedicated and hardworking General Laborers in North Baltimore on 2nd shift! You will be responsible for assisting in various tasks, ensuring efficiency and quality in our operations. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the manufacturing industry!
Pay goes to $20 per hour upon hire, after 90 days!
Must be willing and able to learn how to operate yard equipment such as skid steers, scissor lifts, tuggers, and other heavy equipment! Valid Driver's License is required.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain yard and plant equipment
- Maintain raw material mixture at proper moisture content
- Maintain contact with operator to ensure most efficient drying rate
- Perform daily maintenance on loader before each shift
- Utilize high-pressure power washer to wash plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Other duties deemed necessary by management
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a loader, forklift, or other heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED required
