What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer/Forklift Driver position at Phoenix Services LLC?
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking General Laborer/Forklift Driver on all 3 shifts! You will be responsible for assisting in various production tasks, ensuring efficiency and quality in our operations. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the manufacturing industry!
Shift:
Monday through Friday. Overtime will be posted as needed!
Duties:
- Operate and maintain yard and plant equipment
- Maintain raw material mixture at proper moisture content
- Maintain contact with operator to ensure most efficient drying rate
- Perform daily maintenance on loader before each shift
- Utilize high-pressure power washer to wash plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Other duties deemed necessary by management
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a loader and forklift
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED required
