Growing company in Saline is seeking a day shift Inventory Associate to join their team!
You would play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts, and supporting overall supply chain efficiency. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and data analysis to optimize inventory processes and contribute to demand planning efforts.
Duties
- Stock and organize materials from receiving
- Accurately and efficiently scan picking lists for internal tech orders
- Print certificates for external sales orders
- Generate, maintain, and update stock locations
- Participate in the active physical inventory process
- Compare incoming physical parts to receiving log for accuracy, ensuring there are no discrepancies
- Separate parts and reworks by specific shop
- Distribute parts to storage locations, repackaging as necessary and relocating if required by space constraints
- Promptly identify and deliver critical parts on back order
- Accurately and efficiently scan requested orders for shops, creating a data log for pricing, traceability, and inventory
- Utilizing provided applicators for accuracy and order completion
- Deliver completed orders to designated areas in each shop
- Pull, package, and prepare certifications for external sales orders
- Generate, maintain, and update stock locations
- Participate in the cycle count process
- Participate in upholding 5 S standards
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of experience in inventory control in a warehouse setting, and have strong math and communication skills.
