We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. You would support the accounting department by performing a variety of tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Hours can be flexible during the time period of 8am-4:30pm, Monday -Friday (20-25 hours a week, max)
Duties
- Support accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and collections.
- Data entry of account information
- Utilize Sage 100 software
- Provide support in reconciling accounts
- Other clerical duties as needed
Qualified candidates will have strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations and data analysis, at least 1 year of accounting experience, and a strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
