Plant Assistant needed to work for a well-established metal processing plant in Belleville, MI!
Must be available to work a day or afternoon shift - four, 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday!
Days 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Afternoons 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Job Responsibilities:
- Picking, sorting, and lifting unusable scrap from moving conveyors
- Cleaning the work area
- Maintenance of plant equipment
- Operating a forklift as needed
- Moving scrap into various bins for processing
- Other duties as assigned by Plant Management
Position requirements include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of general labor experience
- Forklift experience is a definite plus
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis
- Must have a valid driver's license
