We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Auditor to join a team of growing professionals in Saline!. You would play a critical role in ensuring that the products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position involves conducting thorough quality audits, utilizing precision measuring instruments, and implementing quality management practices to maintain ISO 9001 certification.
Key Responsibilities:
· Dimensional Checks: Perform precise dimensional checks on manufactured parts.
· Quality Containment: Participate in quality containment actions.
· 5S Initiatives: Promote and support plant-wide cleanliness, organization, and safety initiatives.
· Professional Representation: Represent the Quality function professionally to new and existing production team members.
· Collaboration: Build effective working relationships with Production Supervisors, Operations/Plant Manager, Process Engineers, Application Engineers, Tool-room Team, and Administrative Team.
· Professional Interaction: Interact respectfully and professionally with clients and coworkers.
· Flexibility: Be available for overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Associate or higher degree preferred; significant work experience in quality inspection within the plastic injection molding industry will be considered.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, check fixtures, and digital cameras.
- Team Orientation: Strong organizational skills and a collaborative team mindset.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings to include drug screen and background check
