Growing brushless electric power systems supplier in Monroe, MI is expanding! This company creates products used within the Radio-Controlled Model Aircraft Hobby Industry and is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their team!
This is a full-time temp-to-hire position working 8:30AM-5:00PM Monday through Friday with a starting pay rate of $18/HR.
Job Description
Performing a wide range of tasks to assist with the daily operations of the company. The daily tasks are separated into Primary and Secondary responsibilities, so the ideal candidate for this position is required to have the ability to multi-task and switch between these responsibilities. The Primary Responsibilities include Shipping and Receiving, as well as general Warehouse Management. The Secondary Responsibilities include in-house product testing, electronic repairing, and trade show/event participation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily order fulfilling, including pulling order from the warehouse, as well as packing and labeling them.
- Receiving incoming product shipments, which includes unboxing and inventorying shipments.
- Restocking shelves and rotating stock as needed.
- Maintaining inventory, as well as keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years shipping/receiving/warehouse experience, the ability to lift up to 50lbs., customer services experience, and have proficient computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Prior experience using Stamps.com, UPS, and DHL is preferred. You must also have the ability to travel for trade shows and off-site model aviation events, usually on weekends. Expenses would be covered by the company and additional compensation is offered for attending.
- Prior experience with FDM filament and UV Resin printers is helpful to have.
- Experience with videography would help the ideal candidate stand out.
- Prior experience using electrical motors and speed controllers is preferred.
