Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our 2nd shift. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and maintaining precision tools and dies used in the production process. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all tools meet stringent quality standards.
Monday-Friday: 2:30pm-11:00pm with occasional overtime
Duties will include:
- Maintenance and upgrades on fixtures and gages
- General die maintenance – sharpening, repairing/replacing details, grinding, timing dies correctly
- Maintains good safety and housekeeping practices
- Pressroom trouble shooting
Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years relevant experience, a strong background in die theory and trouble shooting, have the ability to read blueprints, strong math and mechanical skills, and be able to lift up to 40 lbs. HS Diploma or GED required; 4 years of related trade school instruction a bonus!
