What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Hire Production Operator position at Phoenix Services LLC?
We are looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Operator to join our team in a family-oriented environment. This job involves operating heavy machines to cut steel and handling heavy materials to produce metal parts. We seek someone ready to invest in a long-term career with us.
This is a 3rd shift position but you must be able to train on 1st shift, initially.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machines to cut steel and produce metal parts
- Push, pull, and lift heavy steel materials
- Use measuring tools and levelers for accurate cuts
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably operating lathes, mills, and other machinery with the ability to lift 75 lbs. Excellent math and measurement skills and a high school diploma and/or GED also required.
