What are the responsibilities and job description for the Second Operations Operator position at Phoenix Specialty Mfg. Co.?
Basic Job Duties:
Following Specific Work Instructions, Capable of reading/understanding Blueprints.
Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Area by Implementing and Sustaining 5S Concepts.
Needs to be capable of operating Stamping Presses, Belt Sanders, Air Pressers, Parts Leveler, and Etch Machines to Achieve Quality and Efficiency Goals.
Sort Conforming Parts from Non-Conforming Parts Using the Tin Soldier Method.
Able to Perform and Document in Process Inspections Using Basic Measuring Equipment, Optical Comparator, Vision Measurement Equipment to Ensure Confirming Parts.
Works Safely to Prevent on The Job Injuries by Following All Safety Rules and Regulations.
Other Duties Assigned as required.
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Positive attitude and team oriented.
Need to be self-motivated and have good work ethics.
Basic computer skills
Good reading, math, and comprehension skills
Use of basic measuring equipment such as a micrometer and calipers
Education Required: High School Diploma/GED
