We are seeking a highly motivated Account Executive, Valley Suns to join our NBA G League team focused on selling and renewing a full menu of products, including season ticket memberships, group sales and premium seating. In addition to servicing accounts throughout the year, this person will also maintain a focus on upselling current clients, obtaining referrals and seeking out new business opportunities.

Ability to transit throughout the arena for long periods of time. We are seeking a highly motivated Account Executive, Valley Suns to join our NBA G League team focused on selling and renewing a full menu of products, including season ticket memberships, group sales and premium seating. In addition to servicing accounts throughout the year, this person will also maintain a focus on upselling current clients, obtaining referrals and seeking out new business opportunities.
What Will You Do
- Entertain and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through creative means including but not limited to networking events, speaking engagements, one-on-one dinners / lunches, prospect sampling at games, seat visits at games and outside meetings.
- Maintain certain levels of activity (calls and appointments), appointment goals, and closed sales goals.
- Service current members, set and conduct out of office sales/service appointments throughout the Phoenix area and in-arena, execute sales presentations in a face-to-face format, and close sales.
- Possess an optimistic team-first attitude, as well as the competitive desire to be the best.
- Demonstrate both the personal and professional written and oral communication skills to conduct face to face presentations.
- Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends, and game days.
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate with C-Level executives.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Previous working experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus.
- Candidate must have a strong work ethic and a desire to build a sales career in professional sports.
- Minimum of 1 year sports ticket sales/service-related experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Previous experience working with Microsoft Dynamics & Archtics is a plus.
- Must be willing and able to work non-traditional hours, weekends, and gameday.
