We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Vice President, Group Sales & Service to focus efforts towards driving revenue growth, primarily through group sales, while also maximizing opportunities across the Player 15 Group ticketing portfolio, including season memberships, premium seating, and hospitality packages. While leading annual group renewal strategies, this role will develop targeted campaigns to attract new group segments within the Phoenix market and implementing innovative sales initiatives. Additionally, this role has direct oversight of the Inside Sales program, a dynamic 12-month entry-level sales development program. Reporting to the Head of Ticket Sales & Service, this role will play a key role in training and developing a top-performing ticketing department, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and an exceptional customer experience.
What You Will Do:
Revenue Generation
- Drive group ticket sales and overall revenue growth by implementing innovative sales strategies.
- Lead the execution of annual group renewal strategies to maximize retention and long-term revenue.
- Develop and launch targeted sales campaigns to attract new group segments within the Phoenix market.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Business Analytics to optimize pricing, promotions, and lead-generation efforts.
- Identify and integrate new sales technologies and automation tools to enhance efficiency and conversion rates.
- Explore and develop strategic partnerships within the community to drive new group sales opportunities.
Performance Management & Sales Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performers across Groups and Inside Sales, ensuring elevated output.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure individual and team success.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions and training workshops to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and industry best practices.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, encouraging creativity and collaboration.
- Oversee and report on group sales and inside sales program pacing and performance metrics.
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure alignment on sales strategies and execution.
Fan Engagement & Overall Experience:
- Develop and execute exclusive Group Leader events at PHX Arena and offsite locations to deepen relationships.
- Enhance the group sales experience by creating customized, high-value hospitality offerings.
- Work closely with the Game Presentation and Guest Experience teams to elevate the in-game experience for group clients.
- Maintain a strong community presence, building relationships with local businesses, schools, and organizations.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve group sales offerings and service strategies.

- Flexible availability, including the willingness to work evenings, weekends, and select holidays as required for games and events.
Experience/ Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sports management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of outbound specific sales and/or service experience within the sports and entertainment industry.
- 6-8 years managing sales and/or service teams within the sports and entertainment industry.
