Phoenix Systems is growing and we are looking for an experienced Audio / Video installation technician to join our amazing team in Orlando. Candidates should be self-motivated, personable and of good character. You should be passionate about the design and installation of residential smart home automation systems, home theater rooms, security, networking, shades, and all about providing world class service to our high-end clients.
Requirements :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Performs service, installation, and activation of security systems, surround sound systems, system components, speakers, TV hangs, shades, and remote controls.
- Identify and repair security system malfunctions and false alarms
- Troubleshoot and repair existing wiring installed for Phone / Data / Intercom / Security / WAP ’s / Basic Audio / Cameras / etc.
- Learn and understand security systems Phoenix Systems installs and services (2Gig, DSC, QOLSYS, Etc.)
- Handle installation of networking requirements for Routers, Switches, DVR’s, Network Components, WAP’s, etc.
- Learn and understands monitoring protocol with Phoenix / Monitoring Station / Primary Responders for alarms
- Communicate with customers to review work orders,
- Provide instruction / training to customers / end user on the system functions and operations
- Accurately assess system design and functionality when adding additional components
- Handle after hours emergency service calls (as assigned on a rotation basis)
- Communicate pricing for monitoring rate tiers to customers
- Install, setup and train homeowners on AV component packages.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
