SALARY: $19.52 to $24.68 per hour, depending on experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION: One-on-one work with student as well as assist general education and special education teachers in the assessment of academic and behavioral/social skills and in the prescriptive teaching in academic and behavioral/social areas, delivering instruction, monitoring student progress; assist teachers in requirements of medical and hygiene/toileting protocol. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Accurate reading, writing, and listening skills.
- Meet ESSA requirements: two years (72 quarter credits) college credit or successful completion of Work Keys test (or other comparable skills evaluation) prior to hiring.
- Preference may be given to those who are bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students and adults.
- Must be currently or willing to become first aid/CPR certified.
- Physical demands needed: ability to communicate with students, co-workers, and the public; ability to communicate over the telephone; ability to respond to telephones, bells, students, co-workers, etc.; ability to respond to classroom disturbances, visual cues, student requests, etc.; ability to read written material; ability to operate office equipment; ability to carry or lift light loads (25 lbs)
