Title: Manufacturing Generalist – Component Assembly
Location: GE Transportation (A Wabtec Company) – Kansas City, MO (Close to MCI Airport)
Job Description:
These positions will disassemble, assemble, clean, requalify, and rework operations on mechanical components utilizing manual and automated equipment in accordance with safe manufacturing and quality procedures.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support and perform work in compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, policies, and regulations.
- Utilize manual and automated production equipment, various hydraulic, or pneumatic tools for completion of responsibilities in accordance with in-house manufacturing and quality procedures to ensure all products meet specified requirements.
- Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
- Process components in compliance with internal processing requirements.
- Operate a fork truck and overhead crane per OSHA guidelines.
Skills:
- High School Diploma / GED
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
