Technology Integration Specialist

We have an opening for a Technology Integration Specialist based out of Houston or Midland TX. The Technology Integration Specialist is responsible for oversight of technologies moving from the testing to commercial phase. Collaborating with other departments within the company, the incumbent will assist with scheduling ideal job sites for test runs, develop field procedures following the lifespan of new product integration, analyze post-run data from test runs, and establish conformance service procedures. During active field tests, the incumbent will travel to oversee onsite operations. The incumbent will conduct and document JTHA’s prior to all field test initiatives and work with Engineering / HSE / Operations when any concerns arise. This individual also provides administrative support to the Training Manager.
Responsibilities also include:
- Collaborate with Engineering to develop shop qualifications for pre-commercial products.
- Collaborate with Operations and Sales to identify potential clients and test sites for pre-commercial products.
- Assist training with the development of field procedures and pre/post-run QC templates.
- Travel to job sites for oversight and assistance in field trial runs and training field staff on new technologies.
- Create and maintain fluid online learning resources for new technologies as they evolve throughout their lifespan.
- Collate and analyze test run data from real-time, memory, and EDR logs.
- Develop sustainable lab service procedures and assist with conformance integration into Zoho.
- Work with Lab and Reliability Managers to ensure staff receive training and technology updates concerning new products.
- Cooperate with HSE to ensure that JTHA’s, SDS, and test procedures adhere to Phoenix safety standards.
- Assist with general operations and engineering assignments, including alerts and procedural updates.
- Assist with maintenance of training websites, ensuring resources related to new technologies are up to date.
- Create custom content using an array of media formats and software.
- Track and report on training participants weekly, creating status reports and quality checks of systems.
- Assist MWD Operators and Consultants with technical field issues.
- Liaise with other departments and work with the Training Manager to develop regulated training content throughout the Company.
- Assist the Training Manager with general duties such as emails, paperwork, scheduling, spreadsheets, creating and editing new documentation, writing, and proofing policies.
- Required to work on-call after hours when necessary.
- Perform all duties to meet the responsibilities listed in the Employee and Corporate HSE Handbooks.
- Perform duties according to the Company’s quality system procedures and work instructions.
The successful candidate will be safety focused with an Engineering Degree, or a minimum 4 year military background, with a minimum of 2 years of MWD Operator or Directional Driller experience, a preferred Engineering or MWD technology integration background; MWD Reliability expertise. Proficiency in Excel for use with graphing, charting and data analysis. This individual must be very organized, analytical, detail oriented with excellent written and proof-reading skills with strong administrative skills, including the ability to work with a diverse, geographically separated workforce of employees.
