SUMMARY
Regional School Psychologist works in collaboration with campus-based psychologists to ensure compliance of evaluations,considerations of a student's free approprite public education, and considerations of student academic and behavioral needs that impact eligibility, educational placement, and discipline. The Regional School Psychologist serves as the 504 coordinator for the region they support. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Collaborates with campus psychologists to support student needs, including evaluations and report compliance under IDEA.
- Provides direct support and collaborates with Assistant Principal of Instruction (API,) campus 504 Coordinator on evaluations and consideration of eligibility for students referred for Section 504 consideration based on student referrals.
- Support campus personnel with meetings (METs, testing situations, MDRs, crisis / safety plan, or parent meetings).
- Assist the Lead Psychologist with trainings and development for the Psychologist PLC meetings.
