Mechanical Estimator

Main Functional Activities include:
- Analyzing documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project
- Phase out projects during the estimating stage to provide proper handoff to operations
- Prepare labor and materials estimates covering a wide variety of projects
- Walk down potential projects to better estimate and prepare customer requested bids
- Construct writeups describing the scope of work being sold
- Be able to collaborate closely with sales and marketing
To be successful, you must be able to perform each of the outlined essential duties satisfactorily and possess the following skills, qualifications, and behaviors:
- Mechanical and/or construction background
- Estimating experience
- Fundamental computer skills and proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Project management background (preferred)
- Associate/Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Strong communication skills
