Centicor is looking for a Senior Manager of Supply Chain Analytics to support our supply chain advisory business and group purchasing organization (GPO). In this role you will have responsibility for collaborating with our data and GPO partners as well as our in-house supply chain, information services and advisory teams to design, build, deploy and manage our supply chain analytics strategy. Key responsibilities:
- Support our Client Advisors as they review each client’s current supply chain practices, relationships, and results. Contribute to data-driven recommendations and formal action plans for improving the overall supply chain productivity and results.
- Engage directly with clients of our menu services program, group purchasing organization and supply chain consulting services to develop managed order guides that support the financial and operational success of each client.
- Work with our data and GPO partners to identify, quantify, and communicate product optimization opportunities that will improve quality and reduce cost either through initial market basket spend analysis or ongoing reviews of product selection opportunities.
- Support the development of category plans by our purchasing team to help Centicor negotiate and shape supplier agreement strategies,
- Support the development of client and partner business reviews by effectively summarizing current results and contributing to go-forward recommendations.
- Contribute to the development and presentation of sales proposals for new clients and existing client renewals.
- Work with finance to accurately budget and forecast supply chain revenues.
- Manage price releases to distributors and data partners as required for Centicor -managed supplier agreements.
- Support marketing in the communication of new supplier programs and program changes or conversions to actively achieve the anticipated value of the new programs for our clients and our partners.
- Be an active and engaged contributor to our evolving strategies and practices by contributing your insights on a regular basis both proactively and as a key contributor to the company's overall strategic planning process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in a related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in supply chain analytics with a significant concentration in the food and beverage area
- Strong knowledge of Excel and database functionality
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for communicating with colleagues, clients, partners, and suppliers
- A demonstrated ability to work in a team environment on projects which span multiple site locations while managing competing priorities
- Detail orientation and the ability to manage effectively against both reasonable project schedules and time-critical deadlines
- Ability to travel to potential and existing client locations up to 25% of the time
