With phototherapy, payers have a low-cost alternative, providers have a simple and effective solution, and patients have a safe, easy, and natural alternative with the option of use in the comfort of their own home.
We are expanding our journey to help patients, improve clinical outcomes, reduce healthcare costs, and expand market access. Phothera offers phototherapy devices for clinic and home treatment use under the guidance and prescription of an authorized care provider. We are looking for entrepreneurial leaders with a strong bias-for-action to accelerate adoption and growth.
The Contract Manager acts as a point of contact for contracted health plans, keeping accurate files of each contract, its billing procedures and policies, and maintaining organized records, tracking expiration and renewal dates of all contracts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Contract Management:
Work to maintain health plan contracts, including annual price increases, credentialling, terminations, amendments, renewals, notifications, etc, within company guidelines and under the guidance of the VP of Strategic Accounts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with sales and finance to support payer payment or contract related issues.
May work directly with health plans on single case agreements or negotiations in order to obtain payment coverage.
Customer Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Identify and address customer pain points promptly.
Performance Metrics:
Contracts should be kept in good standing, renewals handled in a timely manner.
Records of all contracts kept organized, including deadlines and contact information.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in medical insurance claim billing and working with healthcare organizations/insurance providers, as well as an understanding of health plan contracts and insurance benefit interpretation.
Qualifications:
To perform the job successfully, the individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:
- 2 years of experience in Medical Device Sales, Insurance Billing, or Account Management.
- Strong understanding of medical billing terminology and claim payment processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Must be self-driven, maintaining consistent and prompt communication with both assigned accounts and the Strategic Accounts team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive continuous improvement and to address challenges and customer inquiries efficiently.
