About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Application Development to lead and manage software development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the successful delivery of application development projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery of application development projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including product owners, developers, and QA teams, to define project scope and objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues to ensure smooth project execution.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate and communicate project status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the development team.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in application development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Overall 10 and 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on application development.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with application development technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, or similar.
- Proficiency with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Experience in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles in application development.
- Background in database management and API integrations.
