What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical and Pharmacy Independent Contract Courier position at Phox Health?
We are actively seeking experienced Independent Contract Couriers (ICCs) to handle the pickup and delivery of medical shipments within the local area. The role demands the use of personal transportation, auto insurance, a mobile phone, and relevant supplies, alongside a responsibility to undergo HIPAA training to ensure compliance and efficiency in job execution. Although some supplies and training materials may be available for purchase or rental, couriers should be prepared to source these independently. The position involves coordinating the successful pickup and delivery of more than 1-10 plus shipments daily from Monday to Friday. Schedules and working days are subject to variation. The ICC will be expected to cover both Next Day and Same Day shipments as well as Urgent and STAT runs. We will also have scheduled B2B routes as well. Couriers (ICC) will utilize a mobile application for capturing delivery proof and for route optimization, which can be tailored to individual preferences.
